Wakash is a Partner and Head of the Civil / Commercial Litigation Department and Dispute Resolution. As a very experienced, knowledgeable, and keen litigator, Wakash identifies and isolates the issues involved in a case early in order to achieve the best and most efficient result possible for his client.

He is known for his exceptional client care and is at the forefront of dealing with the most complex and challenging matters this firm is instructed on. He maintains a consistently high standard of work, with a careful, precise, and determined approach to every case.

Wakash has a broad civil practice, acting for both individuals and organisations across a wide range of legal issues. He brings over 10 years’ experience in litigation and dispute resolution, with particular expertise in bringing and defending claims in property litigation, serious injury matters, and high-value disputes. His experience, combined with his exceptional client care, enables him to navigate intricate legal issues effectively and positions him as a trusted adviser.

Featured Cases

FH v BJL [2026]
Successfully secured a possession order following a 4-day Multi-Track trial in highly contested residential possession proceedings. Acting for the landlord in a case involving substantial rent arrears and complex tenant counterclaims, including allegations of harassment and intimidation, extensive disrepair claims supported by expert evidence, deposit penalty issues and challenges to the validity of the Section 8 notice. The Court granted possession on discretionary Grounds 10 and 11 of the Housing Act 1988 and found substantial rent arrears due, dismissed the harassment claim in full, rejected the majority of the disrepair allegations and ordered the Defendant to pay our client’s costs, securing a decisive outcome after 3 years of litigation. 

JA v NH [2026]
Successfully secured an interim injunction to protect our client from a sustained and escalating campaign of harassment, including repeated unwanted communications and threats to attend their home. The Court was satisfied that urgent protective relief was required and granted the injunction to provide immediate safeguards while the claim proceeds, including an order for our client’s costs to be paid

PJR & JAR v SZ DS [2025]
Successfully obtained an interim injunction for a husband and wife who were subjected to a sustained and escalating campaign of harassment by their neighbour and an associate. The conduct included physical assault, criminal damage, interference with property and access rights, and deliberate obstruction of a shared driveway. The Court granted the injunction in full and ordered the Defendants to pay our clients’ costs, delivering immediate protection and bringing the unlawful behaviour to an end

S UK v BS [2025]
Acted for an insurance intermediary who had been served with a statutory demand and faced the threat of a winding-up petition. We successfully applied to restrain the petition on the basis that the demand was without merit and had little legal foundation.

SR v Gloria Jeans Coffee UK [2024]
Successfully acted for a guarantor of a franchise agreement in setting aside a statutory demand. The demand was based on disputed assertions that the guarantor was liable for certain sums. The court agreed that our client had an arguable defence and ordered the respondent to pay our client’s costs.

K & K v O’B  [2024]
Successfully secured a final harassment injunction, £11,000 damages and legal costs for two Leeds businessmen at the County Court.

J v PM  [2022]
Successfully defended a renowned published author in a claim brought by one of Britain’s most renowned convicted serial killers. Obtained a Court order striking out the other parties claim and an order for his client’s costs to be paid by that party.

A v Santander Consumer Finance UK Plc  [2022]
Recovered thousands owed to client by the bank’s failure to honour the terms of a finance agreement.

F v B  [2021]
International contractual dispute following a loan agreement between two private parties. Successfully recovered all monies owed under agreement for client who was based in the United Arab Emirates.

C v Trade Union Legal LLP  [2020]
Acted for client in a claim against former solicitors who were negligent in dealing with his case. C instructed this firm and recovered thousands in damages caused by certain failures on the former solicitor’s part.

T v Esure  [2020]
Recovered compensation for the claimant in excess of £100,000 following a serious injury claim.

Y v Zenith  [2016] – Staines County Court
Successfully claimed compensation for claimant, in a claim where the defendant insurer alleged fraud.
